The countdown begins...

Finally, the end is in sight! The last few edits are now complete, and I absolutely cannot wait for you all to read Phoenix's journey. I can't believe 5th September is almost here.

The other day, someone asked me (I can't quite remember who!) why I wrote The Orenda Prophecy. The truth is, I wrote the story for me.

It's a story I was happy to read—and in truth, shouldn't that be the whole point, the very reason we write stories in the first place? Because the stories we truly want to read haven't been written yet? They are stories we ourselves want to read but cannot find. Because they're stories we ourselves want to lose ourselves in. Stories that we want to share with other. Stories we're happy with, regardless of anyone else's opinion?

 I wrote the story of Phoenix in 2013 - with the essence of him coming to me as I was washing dishes after dinner. A simple thought of imagining finding out you was from another world - and honestly, it grew from there.

This story has been with me a very long time and is a story I truly do enjoy reading, as I hope you do too - but it's ok if you don't, it's still a great story.

So, let the countdown begin until the journey arrives in your hands!
