"For over two decades, I have stood on the front lines of advocacy for those affected by domestic abuse, VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls), sexual violence, and child exploitation. As a vocal advocate for victims of these crimes, I have witnessed first-hand how shame can silence a voice before it ever has the chance to become a survivor.
Throughout my career, I have seen brilliant systems designed to help - but I have also seen them fail. My novels, while works of fiction, are fuelled by twenty years of this reality. They are my way of giving a voice to the 'silent screams' I heard for twenty years.​​​
