Rising UK indie dystopian and Thrill author R.L. Wood has officially pulled back the curtain on the future of The Unbreakable Series. Following the breakout success of The Girl in the Yellow Dress and The Orenda Prophecy, the author has confirmed that the highly anticipated second instalment for both stories will be transmitted to readers in the Spring for chapter 2 of The Orenda Prophecy, with fans having to wait until the Summer to get their hands on part 2 of The Girl In The Yellow Dress.

The announcement comes as Wood’s digital footprint expands across the psychological thriller and dystopian genres. With a library that explores the "architecture of fear" - from the systemic neglect of Flat 47 to the domestic terror of Julie Brown - Wood has carved out a unique space in the 2025 literary landscape as a master of high-stakes social commentary.

Breaking the Silence of Caster

In The Girl in the Yellow Dress, readers were introduced to Althea, a woman navigating the gilded oppression of The Brotherhood. The Summer 2026 sequel promises to take the revolution deeper into the Nara Forest, challenging the foundations of the regime and exploring the psychological cost of being truly "Unbreakable."

"The story of Althea was never just about escape," says R.L. Wood. "It’s about what happens to the human spirit when a system is designed to shatter it. Part Two is a darker, more visceral look at that struggle."

A Growing Literary Archive

The announcement coincides with the launch of The Official R.L. Wood Archives, a new digital hub on the author's website. The Archives provide classified dossiers on Wood’s current works, including:

  • The Unbreakable Series: Dystopian suspense set in the shadow of The Brotherhood.
